anstelle von Weidemanagement hat uns Frau Dr. Kirsten Stemme über Schafskrankheiten und Impfmaßnahmen informiert. Das war ein sehr interessanter Vortrag, in dem sie fachlich und auch mit Bildmaterial auf die Krankheiten:
- Pasteurellose
- Clostridienerkrankungen
- Tollwut
- Moderhinke
- Chlamydien und natürlich
- Blauzunge
einging.
Es gab viele Nachfragen, die Frau Dr. Stemme alle sehr gut und verständlich erklärt hat. A und O ist lt. Frau Dr. Stemme ein gutes Impfmanagement, was wir Schafhalterinnen und Schafhalter mit unserem Tierarzt gemeinsam – auf unseren Betrieb abgestimmt – erstellen sollten
Herr Dr. Hagelschuer hat sich im Nachgang zum Vortrag zur Blauzunge im Bereich Mettmann geäußert und appellierte, wie auch Frau Dr. Stemme, an alle, ihre Tiere impfen zu lassen.
Es wurde ein Heftchen von Frau Dr. Stemme verteilt: „Infektionskrankheiten bei Schafen“

Zu Anfang der Veranstaltung hat Annette einen kurzen Rückblick auf die Kreistierschau 2024 gemacht und hat ein positives Resumee gezogen. Außerdem hat Doris Bassmann, die mit Caro zusammen Bälle und Armbänder mit Kindern auf unserem Stand gefilzt hat, die Einnahmen, abzgl. ihrer Unkosten, dem Verein gespendet: 302,70 EUR. Dafür bedanken wir uns bei den Beiden ganz herzlich 🙂
Weiterhin stellte Annette unser neues Konzept zur Erlangung des Sachkundenachweises vor:
in 5 Blöcken können Interessierte ihre Sachkunde in verschiedenen Themen erlernen/vertiefen und am Ende den mit dem Veterinäramt abgestimmten Sachkundenachweis erlangen.
Interessierte melden sich bitte bei Frau Jasmin Berg (jasmin.berg@kreis-mettmann.de) an und dann findet eine gemeinsame Terminsuche statt.
